The subject of an over-bearing Government is today a subject of controversy and concern as much as it was over 200 years ago when our nation was new born.

Steps were taken to insure that democracy and not mob rule was implemented. The concept of a representative democracy was born and presumed to preserve the rights of colonies and not individuals.

WE all know that within groups leaders arise  - often unqualified and just as often unwanted and unneeded.

That at it's core is the fallacy of a republic.

The idea that one or a few human beings .. knows what is best for ALL persons.

Over time the benefits of a central Government have become so apparent as to escape our attention.

As though when constantly by the side of an Ocean we lose sight of it's vastness.

Those with wealth and power have used these misconceptions to their personal advantage to sway conventional wisdom as well as to usurp OUR democracy and take control of America and americans.

Capitalism is a false economic science or more precisely a weapon used to divide humans from natural resources. And Corporations are a legal entity used as a tool of capitalists to financially enslave human beings for their labor.

Armies do likewise but with a different purpose and a motive to the satisfaction of the capitalists. Soldiers are recruited using patriotism as well as financial incentives. These two incentives have blurred over time.

It is for these reasons of distortion that human communities across the planet consist of 99% oppressed and 1% in control.

In not all cases has this extreme social imbalance been created by force.

Ironically in America it is democracy that has created a form of Government that has evolved to being undemocratic.

In America we the people have been convinced by history that this system works even though it doesn't.

That is the case today in America where the 1% assisted by their wealth have undue and disproportionate control of our nation.

Who would dare justify this? The politicians who benefit from such an arrangement? The wealthy campaign contributors seeking to influence law?

And what of we the people ... how many of us are satisfied with this arrangement and look the other way as a result.

Have we become a nation of cynics? Do we care that more and more fellow americans say "we are not a democracy"?

Yes I care, and propaganda is another subject I shall cover in a separate paper.

And so in this draft document I propose the seeds of a simple solution and ask for the readers help.

That solution is itself to seek a solution and call to the attention of all Americans the fact that they are being represented not by whom they vote for but by those who have been chosen by the wealthiest and most powerful among us.

I invite those readers who wish to debate, discuss and develop this idea that I propose to register on one of my blogs.

Also pass this draft on to others so that they may participate in forming a solution composed by the majority and not a capitalist owned and influenced minority of political representatives.

Only then can all americans begin the tedious and painstaking process of freeing America to live up to it's motto.

The land of the free and home of the brave with liberty, justice and freedom for ALL.

Our mother

we humans are all free spirits yet are confined by nature within the bodies of mammals; our ability to think creates a kindred spirit amongst members of our species and that spirit is a soul that is the essence of our being.

our bodies confine us - our need for food and water - our desires and wants - and often searching for what may not exist or is not attainable

all living beings are needers yet we humans are also wanters and in our quest for more than we need many of us care little for other than ourselves

we cherish our own lives above those of others and often thoughtlessly kill other forms of life and each other as well, without hesitation or remorse

we ignore our creator which is nature and like to imagine we are not born of nature

Our mother

we imagine we are godlike created by Gods who conveniently look human

Yet all life should be cherished and at the end of human life we once again become one with nature as do all other living creatures

thoughtless ageless and infinite

One of the fun things about an aquarium is decorating it.

The options are endless. There are as many choices you can make as their are humans on earth! So how then can we decide?

There are three top level choices to start with.

Natural, artificial and hybrid.

With natural you google the types of fish you have and look at pictures of the fish in their natural environment. The same goes for artificial. Hybrid is up to you where you would select a mixed combination of elements to decorate your aquarium.

The choices are many and self evident as far as size is concerned. Color is a matter of taste or if you go the natural route you duplicate the pictures you have seen of the biotope. Biotope is a fancy word for natural habitat. It could be a stream or a coral reef.

One way to get ideas is to visit an aquarium shop - the better shops have nicely decorated tanks as well as some if not all of the decorations you will need. Don't use wood or rocks picked up in nature. Spend a few dollars on aquarium ready substrate instead.

Keep in mind the following:

Sand or gravel is a pain in the ass. Detritus (fish shit) accumulates under the surface. This can be good or bad - you'll need to read up on biological filtration to understand why. One thing I want to mention is that there are numerous excellent books on decorating an aquarium and a library of 2 or 3 books is a worthwhile investment.

Since this is your first aquarium I assume it is freshwater. In fact I recommend freshwater for starters. But if not the same reference materials are available for saltwater tanks as well.

I recommend going natural in appearance and although you can do live plants go artificial first time around - you won't know the difference and live plants require a lot more expertise.

There is a LOT more I could write - but the most important thing you could do is read a lot. The internet can get very confusing when you solicit opinions and ask questions so pick up a book as well. For every helpful aquarium owner there will be a different answer to the same question

Good luck!
